The following dates were agreed for the coming season:

Plant Sale - 12 May, 2013
Social Sunday at the Trading Huts - 14 July, 2013
Final Date for Return of Seed Order - 06 October, 2013
Harvest home dinner - 01 November, 2013 (for OBAGS Volunteers)
Annual General Meeting - 24 November, 2013 (AGM Minutes 2012)
Highlights from the Annual General Meeting, 25 November, 2012:
The existing committee was returned unopposed and was strengthened by the welcome addition of 3 new members: Janet Lucas, Patricia Moy and Russell Pollard.
An application to the Parish Council has resulted in a grant of £3000 towards the installation of toilet facilities at the Riley Lane allotments, for OBAGS members.
The increase in cost of our insurance cover through the National Society of Allotment and Leisure Gardeners (NSALG) has forced us to look elsewhere. As a result we are applying for affiliate membership of the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) in order to obtain our insurance through them. In order to retain the seed ordering facility from Kings, and other advisory benefits, we are retaining our membership of NSALG. This dual NSALG/RHS membership still works out cheaper than staying with the NSALG insurance scheme, while conferring significant extra benefits accruing from RHS membership for OBAGS members. See RHS Page.
